Trained in antiques, art history and interior design, I moved into jewellery to create pieces that explore its history and forms (from an admittedly absurd perspective). As a result, I’d describe myself as a sort of designer-maker-jeweller – making and working within craft traditions, but designing pieces from the historical and conceptual perspective of a jeweller. My work always starts with the four principles of concept, form, material and technique, and could end up, well… anywhere.
