X When my partner and I got married, the last thing we wanted was a book of good wishes signed by the attendees that we’d leave in the closet. Instead, and to include our families in the event, I melted down gold nuggets from Idaho and Australia into a single sheet for our families to sign, and from which we made our wedding bands.

X Carroll commissioned me to create a pair of rings from a 1910’s ruby, emerald and diamond stickpin to celebrate his daughter Elizabeth’s marriage. Feeling limited by the stones’ primary colours, I surrounded them with other hues and designed two everyday rings to wear separately or together as a single cocktail ring.

X L’Uccello haberdashery in Melbourne is a beautiful collection of fabrics, trims, and vintage bits and bobs. When Kim asked me to create earrings with these 19th C shell cameos, I thought for a long time and finally paired them with moulded glass buttons, mounting the cameos in fine silver filigree to match their natural contour.
